Yes, I def feel that one of the biggest to an artist and musician is for others to understand the message. I am reading Rick Springfield's bio Late, Late At Night and this seems to be a prevailing reason -to connect- that one feels pulling them when they chose to perform live.

Deadsy is just soooo badass to some of us, and its weird that even some of my friends that listen to darker more out there shit dont like Deadsy. Elijah once said in one of his interviews "our music goes right through some people", but I feel like some of us relate to Deadsy on a much more powerful personal level, its almost like an uplifting feeling.

The drummer definitely got some.

It says Alan Barnette Productions at the very end "AB" logo too, and 1994 on the credits but I can't find Soundtracks for the TV flims by that company, the other Roger Moore one called The Man Who Wouldn't Die or the other one called Dead Air.

No, we were not at Studio 54 we weren't old enough, nor were we in New York. But the Rock the Place short tune just seems to fit the disco scene and some of those Studio 54 pics so crazy and some so fascinating...

There is not a huge difference between terminology and use of the words homage and tribute although some say one is used more in the US and one more in the UK, tho there appears to be disagreement as to which one. Also, some say a Tribute is for those Alive while a Homage is often respects after one has passed. Other people argue and say this is not so. Anyway, this was made with all positive GOOD Intention and Elijah was and is ALIVE. ENJOY !!

Ive been listening to this cover for years now I have tried to find covers that rock this hard but can't. I love it

dreamtheaterz28 Very similar situation dude. I heard Gramery Park years ago, the video came on a channel I had called "loud". I hated it, I actually mocked the song. About two years ago, for reasons unknown, the song popped in my head. I then felt compelled to UA-cam it. I absolutely loved it, which then made me look up other songs by them. The next song I clicked on was Cruella. Having said all that, there is not a day that goes by that I don't listen to Deadsy now. Like I said before on another post. I attribute my dislike at the time because I wasn't aware of how deep Elijah's lyrics are. The music itself is absolutely amazing. Like you, I can only hope they reunite and I have a chance to see them live. The band was simply amazing and has altered my top 5 favourite bands without a doubt.

Elijah's band DEADSY is NOT DEAD. They are persuing some solo projects presently, however. Amazing, talented and considerate Elijah is not on drugs. Nor do they self-mutilate, but do use gore effects. Nor are they emo. They are HARDCORE UNDERCORE. hahahhahaa Know it. Learn it. Live it. Their CDs KICK ASS
